And again there have been some changes to the site’s layout since the last time. The top left and right boxes are filled now with a preview of the latest Project and a link exchange request.

Instead of one favourite or funny video, the middle box has a random video now.

I changed the favourite tweets back to latest tweets, but this time I’m using a plugin called Twitter Tools. I tweeked it a little bit to have every tweet in a speech bubble and display the amount of followers and the amount of tweets. This pluchin has cache, so when twitters down, then it won’t slow down my site. Still one thing that I’ve got to figure out is opening the links in the speech bubble in a new window or tab.

I’ve also updated to the latest WordPress. It went smooth an after the update I’ve noticed a decrease of 2 queries on every page.

The last time I was worried about the website’s speed, so I’ve added some functions to take care of that. I’ve noticed that it loads much faster now, so I’m very pleased with that. Still not using any cache plugin, but maybe in the future I will consider it. For now I’m okay.

I’ve recently bought me a new digital camera so when I got the time I’ll make some pictures of this silly little country I’m living in. I’ve allready added the latest 6 pictures from my Flickr account to the sidebar.
